Swimming, Shopping and Sausages

Are you getting bored of me yet?? Cos i'm having so much fun with this!! Just a quickie tonight, thought i'd add a picture of me to prove i do still have a head, and for those of you who may not have seen me for 2 and a bit years. I'm still pretty much the same, bit browner and more freckly, if that's possible!

Anyhoo, the weekend at last, hoorah! I took the girls out to the brand new swimming complex today; it's so fab, fountains and spa pools and just so fab, and the fabbest part of all is that it's free to get in! How good is that? And of course, seeing as i saved money not having to pay for the swim, i bought us all a swanky ice cream to eat in the park afterwards; twas a v nice afternoon :)

Tomorrow unfortunately we have to go to Pak'N'Save ( NZ version of tescos only not so nice and not as good selction of biscuits) and then i have co-erced adrian into doing some gardening for once. Honestly, for someone who works in horticulture, i don't see much evidence of it at home.

Then we're off to a good old fashioned kiwi BBQ where no doubt the women will be indoors making salads, buttering bread rolls and sipping wine, and the men will be outside congregated round the barbie drinking beer and feeling manly because they're blackening a few cheese sausages. Do they have cheese sausages at home? I hope not, for your sakes, they're the most revolting, processed things ever. There's not much choice here when it comes to sausages, you've either got cheese or worse, pork flavoured sausages, which, when you read the ingredients, you find contain no pork whatsoever, rather a mixture of mutton, beef and other revolting things.

The hoover salesman/robber hasn't been back yet, think he's probably been scared away by the paper report.

Anyway, i'm typing one-handed now, i have heidi in one arm, so i shall love you and leave you people, have a good weekend! xxx
