sunday afternoon randomness

Well i'm recovered almost, still feeling shattered but a lot less hungover. The husband, however, is suffering big time having stayed up all night and driven home this morning. he is currently asleep on the floor where he was playing with the kids and is snoring and most likely drooling all over the lounge floor! Bless.

Bit of a pointless entry as i have zero to report; we went out and watched some hockey at the hockey stadium in the park next door which was entertaining although made me feel very lazy. In the process of making a beef and red wine stew which is smelling fantastic and making me hungry. I'm just sitting here trying to think of cool ideas for a housewarming present for some friends of ours who have just bought a house in Onehunga; i'm thinking of making up a giftbasket type thing to take over when we go for dinner next week.

Anyway, how spectacularly boring! I guess that's sunday afternoons for you! Am off to stir me dinner now and then enforce an early night on the kids and then settle down for my latest favourite programme ( and something i thought i'd never in a million years enjoy, but i actually really like it and blushing to admit it as it makes me feel very old) ......Top Gear! Nuff said, i'm off!!!!
