The sacrifices you make ......
Well everyone's moved! As you can see from the photos the girls are very happy about it and absolutely loving their new big bedroom. I moved all the toys into their new cupboard and it's just great, there's just so much more space for them. When Leah came hom efrom kindy yesterday she went in the room and declared that she was "so happy i could fall over, mummy" Awwwww, that made it all worthwhile!! We're having 3 of Leah's kindy friends, Serena, Amy and Tayla over today so no doubt it won't stay as tidy as this photo for very long!
Dinner the other night was lovely, Lee cooked us an organic lamb roast which was just sublime, and even made swede and carrot mash which honestly almost made me cry as i've not had that since i was at home - i thought that was my mother's invention! And Adrian was very happy because Emma made a chocolate self-saucing pudding which is his favourite dessert that his mother makes; consequently i don't even try to make it as i know i can't compete with Anne's cooking. Think i'll stick to my pecan tarts and tiramisu gateaux!
Well i'm off to hang the washing out; i wouldn't normally update of a morning but seeing as i've been awake since 5am i've had plenty of time to do things i wouldn't normally; i don't usually hang the washing out at 6.50am! Probably i'll be really flagging by the time all the kids come home from kindy and i'll be regretting my invitations. Just as well we have an espresso machine; thank god for caffeine!!!
Love you and leave you, take care all xxxxx
