Hallloooo
Sorry for the long delay in posting....i have no excuses so shan't bother to make any up!
Weather continues to be most un-wintery; i was positively having hot flushes today it was that warm. STILL everyone at school thinks i am a madwoman - they all are dressed in jumpers and coats and here's me swanning around in a vest top having worked up a sweat pushing the buggy to school. I do get some odd looks and the occasional comment, but i maintain that at 16 degrees IT IS NOT COLD!!!!
School is going ok for Leah; she has a music concert this friday which she's looking forward to - she's going to be a Kiwi in Noah's (or No-one's!) Ark. There are only 8 children in her class at the moment which is just great for them - they've another girl joining on thursday so there'll be - shock! - 9 children. It'll be positively crowded! The only glitch with school is that there's a 10 year old girl who's said to Leah and her friend that she's going to kill them. I spoke to her teacher about it and she has a feeling it may be a girl with special needs who has a tendency to pick on the little ones, so i am slightly reassured that it's being kept an eye on now.
We had a lovely quiet weekend - the first one for aaaaages without any prior agenda. We hung out at David and Atsuko's ( brother and sister-in-law) until lunchtime then just did garden things and nice relaxing things. Then in the evening David, Atsuko, Alicia and her friend Amanda came over to watch the rugby (NZ v SA), except they had been at a vineyard since the early afternoon and were very merry, to say the least! It was a great evening and as far as i remember the All Blacks won..........!
This morning Heidi, Jenna and I went for a girly champagne brunch at Paddie's and were thoroughly spoiled with bacon and eggs and muffins and fresh fruit - i could quite happily do that every tuesday :) There were babies everywhere - between Paddie, myself, Sheryl and Katie we have 10 children under 5, and 5 of them are 1 or under!
Well, will leave you with photos of the girls just a minute ago ( you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a photo of them all together!) and my particularly intoxicated in-laws at the weekend (yes, drinking out of pink plastic margherita glasses from the Warehouse!) Love to all xxxx
