The resurrecting fish

Hmmm, and today, despite having spent the last 24 hours upside down at the bottom of the tank and looking decidedly dead, the angel fish is now alive and swimming, albeit still kind of upside down, in the tank. hmmmmm.

Today we went to Western Springs park next to Auckland Zoo to feed the eels - i will attach a picture of some of the eels - i think it needs no commentary to describe quite how gross they are. Falling in that pool is my worst nightmare - i always thought my worst nightmare was falling in the trout pond at Arundel, but it turns out eel trumps trout in the disgustingness factor. Eww.

Quiet evening tonight, going to watch Gordon Ramsay *swoon* and then if i'm still awake watch NZ vs Australia in the rugby. Or i may just leer over some All Blacks doing the Haka and then go to bed - that sounds more likely!
