Bad day

Ohhhh, it's been One Of Those Days today. It started out pretty rubbish when upon waking i found my eye had for some unexplained reason swollen up and resembles a goldfishes' eye. And i have a big ulcer under my tongue which hurts every time i eat or speak - my 2 favourite things to do in the world.

I battled bravely on and as Adrian has the day off today, i went to load the girls in the car to take Leah to school. I put Heidi in her seat and threw the keys in the front seat. Unbeknown to me they are very sensitive and the lock mechanism is set off very easily. And yes, stupid woman that i am, i locked Heidi in the car. (Vicki - i hope this story makes you feel a bit better about leaving the nappy bag in the car!!! ) Adrian phoned the AA and the lovely man came immediately and let her out and i was left with even puffier eyes from bawling so much about my Extremely Bad Mother status.

Then we went over to the old house to do some more cleaning which is a horrible job, made better when Hungry Eyes (from Dirty Dancing) came on the radio. I launched into full Johnny and Baby dancing mode with my mop and the next thing i knew i was on my bum on the floor having Dirty-Danced my way into a big wet patch, looking super-sexy with my goldfish eye.

Then Heidi exacted her revenge for being locked in the car and vomited an entire bottle feed all over me. Boy, it's just been a FAB day!

Looking forward to good hospital telly tonight - Emergency ward ( real life thing), then ER, then Grey's Anatomy - Adrian hates them all but it's my idea of heaven. Shall load myself up with Bonjela and eat chocolate through the pain. Hope you all have a better day than me!!! Lots of love , will leave you with a picture of Heidi playing in the doll's house xxxx
