Meh.

Am in a VERY bad mood today. So i thought i'd bring you all down with me and share my bad mood around. (only kidding, just feeling a bit meh..... need to offload)

This morning was nice, we had our usual wednesday morning swim, so the day didn't start all that bad, but it was just One Of Those Days, where everyone wants to share their opinion on what you're doing wrong. A day where mean little old ladies pack a lunchbox and go and camp in supermarket aisles just waiting for their prey.....waiting for a stressed mother and a screaming baby and a whingy 3 year old. Then they jump out and THEY give you their opinion on exactly what you're doing wrong too.

Seriously....everyone from the bank clerk ( "ohhh, 3 girls..... isn't it a shame you didn't have a boy?" ) to the mean little old lady who had camped out to be mean to me ( "you should take that baby home - it's obviously tired from all this shopping" ) wants to give me their opinion on what i'm doing wrong. I KNOW what i'm doing wrong - i really don't need the whole world to point it all out to me.

And i'm also sick of bending over backwards for people who clearly don't appreciate it. I look like a mug. Again :(

One nice thing that happened today was that my lovely friend katie bought me a lovely birthday present....so it wasn't ALL bad. But adrian's playing a gig that i was meant to be going to but nobody wants to babysit for us, so that's making me cross, and all that's on telly is The Matrix and i refuse to watch it for reasons i am not entirely clear on myself. It's like Star Wars - still never seen one of those either....not really sure why other than a deep-seated feeling of Not Wanting To.

Meh. I don't even have any chocolate. And actually, i've just remembered the day DID start bad because i've run out of Marmite and the English shop doesn't sell it ( WHY would you have a shop full of English products if you don't sell MARMITE??? ) and i refuse to put my mouth anywhere near the muck they call marmite over here. Blasphemy, i tell you.

Well, rant over. Off to wrap Christmas presents which will definitely cheer me up :) (even though CLEARLY it is too hot to be Christmas..........meh)
