Hmmm, a few more New Years photos for you today in absence of anything else interesting to look at. We spent the evening in Kerikeri town which was possibly the sleepiest place we could have gone in the country. There was no entrance fee but if you wanted to dance then you had to pay $5 for the privelige. Obvioulsy they've never seen me dance or they would have paid ME to grace their dancefloor! And they wondered why there were only 2 people dancing. In stark contrast we were served by the bubbliest, most over-the-top enthusiastic barmaid in the world, who was obviously being told to sell copious amounts of "Superjugs" containing nasty beer in a large jug with separate chilling compartment.....as modelled by Adrian......



And then i was force fed said nasty beer by the brother-in-law....


No other photos. It was a rather lame one to be honest.

And it was 3 years yesterday since we arrived in NZ, all bleary-eyed and dressed completely inappropriately in our jeans and jumpers. New Year's Day is always a bit depressing now, which is sad because it should be an optimistic day but to me it just feels like i've been here for ANOTHER year, and i never expected to be away this long. Ho hum. Praying to the gods of Lotto and National Lottery..................

And tonight all that's on is stooopid Lord Of The Rings which although is a good movie i am completely over and am soooo not going to watch it with adverts in it as well. Pah.
