Farewell, L Plates
Woooooo hoooooooooooo!
As is family tradition, i passed first time with only 2 minor faults. Yay me!!!! I was feeling very sick this morning and was up at 5am, but the minute i got in the car i was fine, and the examiner was really lovely. It was meant to be a 20 minute drive but he took me back after about 13 minutes. I knew i had made a mistake at some traffic lights by going into the wrong lane, and he said i was swinging too wide to go left, so i thought he was taking me back early because i had failed, but no, i have a licence, woooohoooo! Albeit only a restricted licence, so i can't take passengers (except the kids and adrian) and i can't drive between 10pm and 5am without a supervisor. But hey, it's a licence, and that's definitely a start!
The weather even held out and was beautifully sunny. This afternoon is bringing a massive storm though, with wind gusts of up to 130km, thunder and hail. Hmm. Summer has definitely gone.
Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers, it meant a lot. And a very happy birthday to Dave today from all of us.
I do wonder why though, when i should be feeling very elated and happy, i am feeling really weepy and down. I have a massive headache too. Funny what accumulated stress can do, i guess. Hmm.
