Apologies

Still here, still surviving. No baby niece yet. Any day soon....

As i type the children are being exceptionally well-behaved and quiet. On the whole they have been terrors this holiday, the big one especially We had a small problem the other day for which she got a severe telling off for. As a result later that afternoon i received my first ever written apology.....

It's hard to stay cross sometimes! I just love the "to Jo" part!!! I'm sure you can figure out from the note what it was that she had done wrong! She had told fibs about it too, so that's why i was so cross.

My fitness regime has been going very well; as well as my swim + run on Sunday, i swam 30 lengths Monday and Tuesday too, and plan on running more at the weekend. I will NOT turn into a blob just because i can drive.

This morning we went to Bunnings ( like B&Q) for a craft morning where the kids made mosaics with borken tiles. It was all good and not very crowded, but there was one fatal flaw in the proceedings. As the woman was spreading glue on all the tiles she said "please don't let your children touch the glue.....it's highly toxic" Okaaaaaaaaay! I'm sure every single child there touched this glue, but we have no adverse effects (other than good behaviour) so far!

Off for a midday nap now. xxx
