Cake making

Back to school, hoorah! We were all so keen to get back to routine this morning we were 20 minutes early for school!!!! I wasn't the only one, so i can't be alone in celebrating the return to normality and relative peace. Jenna and i made one of those awful Thomas the Tank Engine packet cupcake mixes today ( purely because they had those rice paper character things to stick on the top). Heidi helped a bit too, and they are actually suprisingly tasty. 6 paper thingies went missing during the process and a fair bit of icing was consumed in a brief parentless interlude....


They had fun though, and are still going at the bowl as i type. It must be a kid thing, licking the bowl, i honestly couldn't do it these days.

We have a rare night out tomorrow night courtesy of Ivan and Rachael....Adrian and another guy at his work are having a joint leaving do, so we are staying at Ivan's and having a sleepover. Plus Wednesday is a public holiday for ANZAC Day, so we'll have a day off to recover, which is always nice. May update then with some photos. xxx
