Thank you Aunty Emma!!!

Don't they look tasty fingers???!!

Firstly just have to say that entertainment today was kindly provided by my lovely friend emma, who obviouly knows exactly how to keep a couple of little girls (and their mother, ha ha! I LOVE colouring in, especially with gel pens!!) busy for the best part of 3 hours!! Thank you sweetie, everything was gorgeous as always, you are the best present buyer *mwah*

However. On to more serious news.

Adrian has received an official marital written warning for Failure to Exterminate Disgusting Rodent from the Residing Familial Premises, and also for Lying to Wife About Extermination of said Rodent. Two more strikes and our marriage is over. I do NOT take kindly to Resurrecting Rats, especially when i have clearly told everyone it is in fact definitely dead.

Honestly........................and so the saga continues!! In answer to your question Vicki - if the rat in fact ever does die ( it's eaten 2 lots of poison - how is it not dead??) then i shall be having a lovely open casket and i've picked out the most beautiful marble headstone. I'm sure i could muster up some hymns and a few choice (swear)words as a eulogy. Your invite will be in the post......!

Heidi is soooo close to rolling over from her back to her front - i'm sure it took longer with the other girls. Of course in reality it probably didn't, it's just i haven't the luxury of time to spend watching her all the time - she'll probably walk into the kitchen one day and i'll have not realised she was able to walk! The unfortunate thing about third children - they're much easier and very adaptable but you just can't give them your undivided attention. She's taken to sucking her fingers as well now which is so cute, although i'd rather she had the dummy - orthodontic treatment in NZ costs literally an arm and a leg!

Another public holiday weekend this weekend, Waitangi Day this time, commemortaing the signing of the Treaty Of Waitangi, which basically was the document that the Maori chiefs and the British Crown signed to acquire New Zealand. That's about as much NZ history as i know! Don't know what we're going to do, maybe a beach bbq with some friends. I could definitely get used to 4 day weeks though.

Well i'm off for my dinner now - i had planned a picnic dinner on the beach this evening. I was super organised, i made a pizza and made the dough myself - with yeast (don't know why it's impressive to make things with yeast, it just is!!) and a beautiful Greek salad and even plum pie with cream for afters. LUCKILY i tried the pizza before we left and for some reason it was all gross in the middle and tasted just like a mouthful of yeast. So that was binned, fishfingers were bunged in the oven and we had a rather disappointing dinner at the table, much to the disgust of the children. And now it's 9pm and Adrian has had to go out for curry, so i'm going to love you all and leave you and blow huge kisses to you all and go eat my tea. Emma - i'll phone you at the weekend honey.

Night! xxx
