WHY won't it die??????

Hmm, no new photos to show today so i'll put a couple of old favourites on, and because i'm sure this is all terribly boring without photos! This was Heidi just a few days old, she's grown so much!

The weather was most bizarre today, it was like in the 30's but it was still raining, so really muggy and yet going outside you can feel that you still need sunblock on. Wierd. It did stop later on so we made some yummy snacks and went to the marble place we were going to go to the other day and the girls loved it, they spent hours just chasing marbles and watching them go through tunnels and stuff. And i was happy because it was a free outing, hurrah!

I am taking refuge in the bedroom because, yes *yawn*- are you bored yet? the rat is still here. I did actually tell adrian he was forbidden to go to band rehearsal tonight unless the rat was dead, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears as i am *EEEEEK* home alone, with a rat banging around upstairs and showing no obvious signs of being dead.

I do get to escape it tomorrow night though as i have offered ( am i mad?) to babysit Paddie's twins whilst she and her partner Daz go out for a while. It should be interesting, i've never dealt with twins before. They are very good babies though and happy to take bottles so it should be a breeze...................*famous last words*

It's Auckland Anniversary Weekend this weekend so it means Adrian has monday off, wooo! And the following monday Is Waitangi Day, so another public holiday - you gotta love em :) Adrian's eldest brother Ivan and his wife and son got back from England this evening, they've been there for 2 years and so we're all round to theirs for a big family bbq on sunday (wish it was my family *sob*). And sunday night there's a big fireworks display down at the harbour, set to the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra or something ( i can HEAR mum going Oooooh!) so we might go to that if the kids aren't too shattered.

Off to hide under the covers now until adrian gets home. Big kisses all round xxxxx
