Dancing On Ice Fest!
Well, am all better and recovered from my rather wierd illness. Heidi and i are now spot-free although i do feel very tired still and pretty weak; it really knocked me for six. None of the others had it but a friend of Leah's from kindy who'd come to visit before we knew we had it also now has it, so i feel very guilty.
Not much happening in Bergman Land, have just about stopped with the sobbing fits that mum and dad aren't here any more; had one yesterday morning but none since then! Have been having major Dancing On Ice fests while i've been poorly; dad taped me it from ITV and oh......my........GOD it is my actual favourite programme EVER. (i hope at least one person reading knows what the hell i'm talking about here!) a) Phillip Schofield is like one of my most favourite people ever, b) so are Torvill and Dean, c) well, i could be here all night, it's just my most favourite programme ever ( did i say that already?!) and i've sat through about 8 hours of it in 3 days! And yes, i'm fully aware that i am incredibly sad and not very cool ( i can hear Emma rolling her eyes at me from here!!!) but it really has made me happy again and i completely want to be an ice skater again - unfulfilled childhood fantasy of mine.......
Hmmm, what else.......roof is leaking and we have a big wet patch in the lounge ceiling.....adrian thinking of moving again......i'm not so keen given we have moved about fifty two times since we've been together.
Heidi is sitting up unsupported now, although still prone to falling flat on her face at any given moment.
Went out for a posh lunch with Paddie yesterday in Howick, no babies or children, hoorah! I had French toast with bananas and bacon and maple syrup - soooo good and went so well with a bottle of bubbles; at lunchtime - shocking! By the time we got up to pay the bill we had been sitting there yacking and drinking for 2 1/2 hours and to say we were a bit tipsy is an understatement - it was very hard to concentrate on getting the shopping for dinner after that!
Still on school holidays until monday; we're having Morning Tea here for friends tomorrow, have just finished making Raspberry and White Chocolate muffins ( my fave) with a little help from Leah and Jenna :)
Have added a link for Adrian's bands' website on the right, if you fancy seeing what my husband does in his spare time! They're very good, however i am still waiting on those million dollar cheques to start dropping through the letterbox to compensate me for all those lonely thursday nights..........! They're playing a few gigs this weekend, one at The Kings Arms in Auckland city on friday and another at Leigh Sawmill up north on saturday. I'm menat to be going along to the friday night one as Alicia (adrian's sister) has agreed to babysit for us. I'm a bit apprehensive as heidi has been all disrupted by being poorly and isn't quite back in a routine yet so could cause a problem.....i think i'll call that one on friday afternoon as to whether or not i go, much as i'd love to.
Nothing more to add, am being dive-bombed by mosquitoes, so toodlepip! xxx
