Fifth disease, anyone?
Well, i'm writing from my sick bed; turns out the rash came with the WORST headache i have ever had in my life ( no joke), nausea, temperature, chills and general weakness. Adrian had to go to work yesterday morning despite me walking from the bedroom to the lounge in a manner reminiscent of Bambi, so i got a taxi to the doctors and from there the lovely lovely nurses there took care of the kids and i saw the doctor who deducted that Heidi and i have Fifth Disease (huh?) , otherwise known as Slapped Cheek. Poor Heidi has the rash all over her too and she's all glassy-eyed, poor thing. The doc said that he could find me some nice strong medication to ease my symptoms......until i reminded him i was still breastfeeding to which he gave me a prescription for Paracetamol! wooo! Never mind, it's doing the trick. I'm feeling slightly better today; yesterday really was hard as we have to be in isolation so nobody could look after the girls for me and they were just full of beans, so not easy trying to look after them from my sickbed. they were very good though and were very helpful; twas a hard day for everyone involved.
Have the house to myself this morning so am off to watch some Loose Women that Mum taped for me from home and nibble some toast. Think of poor Chris everyone, i think he has the same thing and he has a 12 hour flight to endure yet ........xxx
