More e-stalking
Thank you so much to Carey's mum Susan for the tip on www.local.live.com - i have been sitting here neglecting the girls and looking at home - sadly i can't seem to get Lancing pictures but i did see our old houses in Worthing and e-stalked Emma for a while at her house ... and i'll admit to shedding a little tear - it looks so close but it's just so flippin far away. then the stupid dial-up couldn't cope any more and it refused to play, so i'll be on there again tonight :)
Update on the Caterpillar suit - we have progress! In the end i bought some sheer tights, some green balloons, some red fluffy wool and by blowing the balloons up a bit inside the tights and separating them with some wool, we have a bumpy caterpillar body. I've bought a green tshirt this morning and now all i have to do is sew the body onto the tshirt and paint her face on the day. That's all, she says!
I've had a bit of a problem with random people/organisations leaving Spam messages for me on the blog. I went through and deleted them all yesterday - they were fairly amusing, ie "I say briefly: Best! Useful information. Good job guys" and "Greets to the webmaster of the wonderful site. Keep working. Thank you" Hmmmm. I wonder how i ever guessed they were Spam??!
Slight progress with packing for the move this weekend - i have actually moved the empty boxes from the carport to outside the front door. I just can't face doing it!!!! I almost saved myself the hassle of moving yesterday as i had a slight incident involving some grilling fishfingers, some baking paper, lots of flames and some rather loud expletives. As you can see, Heidi slept through the whole lunch drama and ended up with cold fishfingers.
Right, off to try and sew a caterpillar body onto a tshirt - i'm feeling pessimistic about this - a) i can't sew and b) needles and balloons??? We'll see............
