Babs
I was having a sneaky peek on the computer at baby Finlay yesterday afternoon, (who is very beautiful, by the way :) ) when an ominous silence drew my attention towards the garden. Leah and Jenna had been amusing themselves by making 'milo' using copious amounts of mud and plants and herbs. I had to laugh; they had been so industrious and had such a great time - still trying to get the mud out of jenna's top though. The drama came when the pair of them started really itching their hands and crying. Turned out they had picked an Arum Lily which is poisonous and had had a reaction. So they've learned their lesson now and won't be picking anything without asking first!
Adrian and i were fervently hoping for a lie-in this morning after a week of 5.30's. Well, we almost got it - the kids slept until 7am ......but at 5.15am the phone rang, and i immediately thought it would be bad news, further compounded when the person on th other end sounded exactly like my cousin kath. Anyway, this person was looking for someone called Babs and obviously had the wrong number. She was very apologetic for waking me up, but still - typical! Then neither of us could sleep, and the stupid birds were making a racket ouside, and the more i tried to get back to sleep, the more all i could think about was how this one bird sounded like it was singing a Bee Gees song, and then i couldn't stop thinking about THAT, and then the sun came up, and here i am. *sigh*
I wonder if it actually was singing a Bee Gees song?
Off girly shopping today, woohoo! I love Saturdays :) xxxxx
