argh.....computer.....screen....too.....bright......

My poor hungover eyes are not coping with all this Christmas sun. We've had a great couple of nights out, with my birthday do at Boogie Wonderland on friday which was fantastic, and the light-up dancefloor and 70's and 80's music was very much enjoyed. I never thought i'd ever go to a nightclub where they played Rick Astley songs. I wasn't actually tooooo hungover after that as we had a fantastic waitress who was topping up our water glasses after every drink - she was clearly an angel for i felt fine yesterday despite having drunk many nasty cocktails.

Then last night we had Adrian's work Christmas do at Gengi's in Newmarket ( like a Mongolian BBQ place). We left the kids at Adrian's brother's house and prayed that they would all behave themselves, which they did. The food was gorgeous and i didn't go too hard out on the free wine, but i called it a night before we all got to the pub at 11.30 and went home to bed. Adrian, on the other hand, stayed out until 2am and drank copious amounts of bourbon and is now in bed suffering a LOT. So much so that i had to drive us home on the motorway again this morning which was pretty nerve-wracking stuff without his guidance. I have a driving lesson tomorrow morning so that should be easy compared to Auckland's Southern Motorway with a hangover and a puking husband. Nice.

Will upload some of the less sweaty photos from Friday (believe me - there are some awful ones!!) i start off relatively normal looking and then the grin gets bigger with the more cocktails i've drunk and then i just have my hair scraped back from getting too hot. Oh ok, here's some of the terrible sweaty ones - it was hard work dancing!
