What a weekend.... I love Auckland in the summertime! After posting yesterday we all went to Victoria park in the central city to a French market and festival; by some miracle Adrian managed to drag himself off his deathbed to come with us. It was lovely weather, good music, good company, and as it was a French festival then we were (well, i was, at least!) obliged to embrace the spirit and drink (more) wine. As if my liver wasn't pickled enough from the weekend! The kids had a blast and played football with Adrian's friends, then Adrian took them home about 5pm and i stayed on to finish the weekend off with yet more wine.

And me this morning kindly taken by one of the children. I am clearly not pretty after a whole weekend of over-indulgence.
