Bunks

Apologies for the font mess-up yesterday, try as i might i could not get the font to be normal size.

Excitement in the Bergman household today as we had some bunks delivered for the big girls....

....Leah was previously in her own room but had started to complain that she was lonely without Jenna. So when we saw these near-new, excellent condition bunkneds in a secondhand shop yesterday for $300, we snapped them up. And the guy took $50 off too, so they were a complete bargain. I like bargains.

He also threw in some Obstetrics textbooks that i had seen that i thought might come in handy one day in the future. One was called 'The Newborn Baby' and was printed in 1973. I wish wish WISH i had flicked through it before i bought it....a more appropriate title might have been '1001 Graphic Pictures of Things That Can Go Wrong With A Newborn Baby" It made me feel very sad and gave me nightmares.

We had to visit the Plunket Nurse ( NZ Health Visitor) today for Jenna's and Heidi's check ups. All was well, although the nurse was very grumpy and told me that she was concerned that Heidi was "rather short and.......stout" WHAT she wants me to DO about it, i have no idea. Stretch her? Put her on a diet? Honestly.

Ooooh, sooo much good telly on at the moment. ER starts again tomorrow, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives are back v soon, and am loving Ugly Betty. Of course, come winter when there's nothing better to do of an evening there will be nothing at all to watch.

Anyhoo, not going to type any more for we're off to get fush and chups for dinner, then we're off to the beach to eat them. I love summer holidays!!!! xxx
