Adam and Shortland Street

Well, the neighbours finally admitted that it WAS them who dinged our car ( grrrrr, still cross whenever i see it ) and have told us to get a quote and they'll pay. At least we *think* that's what they said, they don't speak very good English. I have a feeling this won't be the last you'll hear about this saga.

Tis fantastic having Adrian home :) yetsredya he made us Lemon Garlic Chicken with wedges and greek salad, and this evening he has made me a gorgeous steak with homemade peppercorn sauce, roasted baby new potatoes and garlic field mushrooms for dinner, accompanied by a(nother) bottle of Sav Blanc *hic* AND he washed up. But he is going fishing all weekend so i am making the most of it.

Random, hilarious, front-page of the NZ Herald news story yesterday is that Adam Rickitt ( that blond guy off Corrie who snogged the other bloke, and one-time pop star, for those not in the know) has come to NZ to star in Shortland Street!!! Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!! It will no doubt suit him well as Shortland Street is the most pathetic excuse for acting i have ever seen. He will do very well, i'm sure. I laughed so much when i got my papaer yesterday that everyone looked at me in the shop.

I have actually seen Adam Rickitt in a concert of sorts, with no shirt on. I hope Richard or Laura or Hannah is reading for they will certainly appreciate the enormity of this story and just how much it made me laugh.

I had a Bounty chocolate bar today for the first time in yonks. I forgot how much i loved them.

Ah well, best rouse the husband before he becomes comatose.
