Je t'aime Auckland
Well, another busy busy weekend in Auckland! Didn't do much yesterday due to my father transmitting his cold to me via the telephone, and me feeling generally crappy all day. We had offered to have our nephew Sam overnight on Saturday and were feeling a tad nervous about it as it was his first ever sleepover. In the end it was super easy ........ALL the children were fast asleep by 7.45pm; we couldn't believe it. Almost makes us think about having a fourth, it was that easy!
Then today, being National Children's Day, there were a variety of activities for us to choose from. In the end we all went to Omana Park in Maraetai, where the kids enjoyed a tractor ride, face painting, looking at small animals and various other farm-y type things all for free.
This evening we have been to a barbeque at Sheryl and Darren's, and all of a sudden it is almost Monday again. Which means it is only 10 days until my driving test. Tomorrow i have to take my car to the garage as i have knocked the wheel alignment out. It really doesn't look promising that i will pass, does it?!!!
