Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny has been and gone and has left me three children on a permanent sugar high. Not so fun.

We spent the weekend in Rotorua at Anne and Des's and had a lovely relaxing time. I even drove the mad 4 hour drive all the way down there (including motorway and windy gorge-type one-inch-to-the-right-and-you're-carreering-down-a-mountainside type roads) as the husband was busy sleeping off a hangover. I was very proud of me!

In his infinite wisdom the Easter Bunny decided that his family tradition that he wanted to implement was to leave the girls' Easter Eggs next to their beds so they could see them when they woke up. Of course, by 7am the children had already eaten said eggs whilst we were still asleep. Easter Bunny has now been fired and will not be allowed any Egg-type duties next year.

Anyway, off for a 10 mile run to exhaust the children now. Photos of the weekend - Heidi discovers the hose! there's nothing funnier than watching a baby with a hose - they are extremely powerful!! And Jenna inherits gold sparkly clip-on earrings - girls are so easy to please!!
