All for a good cause :)
Easter holidays and so far the average hour of waking in the household seems to be 5.50am. Which is why this morning, at 7.24am, i have done 2 loads of washing, fed and dressed the kids, and have a batch of chocolate eclairs in the oven. Sadly come 3pm i will be a tired, crotchety mama and will not feel like making anyone any dinner.
I'm going to use my blog as a medium to fundraise today; my good friend from school, Hannah, is going to walk 40 miles across the South Downs on May 19th, and all proceeds will be going to St Barnabas Hospice in Worthing which provides palliative care for adults and children in the area. It's a very good cause so if you'd like to sponsor Hannah, click this link and pledge her some money :)
I'm allowed to tell you all our fabulous news now as all the people who needed to know first have been told. (i just KNOW Claire's saying "she's pregnant again, isn't she?"!) Adrian had applied for a job as a Horticulture Sales Co-ordinator about a month ago. It's at a local company that grows and supplies big trees to landscapers ( and at over $800 for some of them, very rich people!) Well, he was invited for an informal meeting, then an interview which lasted 2 hours (!), then a second interview with a HR Consultant, and was told the other day that he has beaten 50 other applicants and got the job! I'm so proud of him, and he's really chuffed i think. It's going to make so much difference; he'll be travelling half of what he was to his other job, and he'll be home at 4.30 every day.
So there you go. Times are changing in the Bergman household again, and i wouldn't be suprised if we move again very soon, knowing us!
Eclairs are ready for filling and icing now, so i'm off. Love to all xxxx
