hungover-ish

Well, it's now a rainy, hungover sunday; my darling husband is making me poached eggs and proper coffee and hopefully going to get me a sunday paper to peruse....might be pushing it with that one!

Night out was fun and not too drunken so my hangover isn't actually toooo bad, i'm just a bit blurry at the edges and don't want to move my head too fast! We went to a bar in the city, the Empire Tavern for anyone reading that might actually know it. It was ok but i could have done with drinking and then burning off the drink by doing some manic dancing somewhere. There was a band playing AND MTV playing so the atmosphere was a bit mixed as the band was playing really dirgey stuff and MTV was playing Sugababes and Holly Valance. Bit strange.... But nice to be out and being an adult for a change! The picture is Paddie and i nearer the end of the night and classic i'm-so-drunk....could-we-smile-any-bigger poses!

Talking of Holly Valance and things Neighbours related, i know Laura will appreciate this news - Libby from Neighbours is playing baby in the stage version of Dirty Dancing in Auckland at the minute. I for one think it is sacrilege and that she would be possibly very annoying - nothing will ever live up to the film for me!

Anyhoo, off for my breakfast and then the kids and i are going to bake a cake for Anne's ( adrians mum) birthday and then off for a hearty roast this evening, you gotta love sundays! Love to all xxx
