owwwwww. i just stubbed my toe REALLY hard on the way to the computer and nearly threw my glass of water all over it ....ooops. dad always did say no drinks round the computer!
It's been a nice relaxed saturday so far, i've finished my first Anatomy and Physiology coursewok module and posted that offf, and been for a coffee with Paddie at the garden centre, without ANY children - a rareity and i don't think we've done it since the babies were about 6 weeks old, so well overdue. Leah's been to a party at Chipmunks ( like a giant Fun Junction soft play thing - kid's paradise and they serve coffee so fab for mums too), and she's come back and gone straight out to play with her little friends Amy and Serena. It's quite strange having her have her own little social life! Adrian and jenna are cooking dinner and i'm all excited about going out into the city tonight to get very drunk.....ahem....i mean to celebrate a friend's birthday :) Haven't been out in aaaaages and am already having wardrobe crises, ie a severe lack of any wardrobe to speak of. Shall hopefully update with some classic drunken photos tomorrow.....
By coincidence, there was a documentary on Langkawi this morning (where mum and dad are stopping off on their way over). I doubt whether mum will check this before she goes so it's probably safe to say that they were actually hunting for snakes and Monitor lizards........and diving with sharks on the corals. It looked amazing, like really beautiful and picturesque; i'm very envious!
I found a poisonous spider in my kitchen the other evening. I stupidly told mum, who was none too impressed. Nor was i, come to that, especially as adrian was out and i was all alone. It scuttled away behind the dishwasher before i could squish it so it is still at large somewhere in the house.......
Anyhoo, what a boring entry! Will leave you with a photo of heidi guffawing at adrian; everything's so funny when you're only 5 months old :) xxxx
