all snotty...

ok, could i BE any more red and puffy and snotty?? I've cried so much and so hard today that my head and my eyes hurt like crazy, which in turn is not making me feel any happier :(

Clothes shopping served only to make me more miserable upon finding that even though i can fit into a size 8 pair of trousers (yay), i am in fact a complete midget and all trousers are an actual metre too long for me (boo), rendering finding trousers near on impossible. This, coupled with my woeful state today and a particularly rude shop asisstant, unfortunately meant i involuntarily burst into tears in Glassons (like topshop but not as good) in front of a bunch of teenage schoolgirls (oh the embarrasment!). I've tried drowning my sorrows with a large glass of wine but i managed to knock that over reaching for a tissue, and even chocolate hasn't worked; i am completely chocolate-d out from the amount of cafes we have frequented in Auckland over the past 2 weeks! Oh, it was SUCH a great holiday; my parents really are fab :) They were so good and patient with the kids, especially Chris, who entertained them the whole time. We did some great stuff, we showed them Goat Island, a really cool marine reserve north of Auckland, and the boys went snorkelling which they really enjoyed, we showed them our old house in West Auckland, we went out for dinners, lunches, brunches and just really enjoyed each other's company, and i just realise all over again exactly why i miss them.

My lovely girlfriends, in a timely attempt to cheer me up, have emailed me pictures of a bach we're going to rent next month in the coromandel in a place called.......hang on, i'll have to look up the name..........Kuaoutunu Beach. Sheryl, Darren and their 3 littlies will be going, Paddie, Daz and their baby twins are coming and our little brood as well, so it'll be great fun, and it has given me something cool to look forward to.
