Happy Half Birthday Heidi :)
My baby is half a year already - where does time go??? I've taken a lovely photo of her but can't find the cords to connect the computer so i'll have to do it tomorrow.
Mum and Dad and Chris phoned before - from the hotel bar of all places - methinks they may be getting a tad too used to this jetsetting lifestyle........! They should be back at Kuala Lumpar airport now and getting on their Auckland-bound plane in about an hour.....eeek!! I've been tidying and rearranging all day (the kids of course have been following behind me and systematically UNarranging for me) and now i'm completely wired and know i'm not going to be able to sleep because i'm so excited. Maybe i'll go do some study - i'm sure that'll send me off to sleep quite nicely.
The second day of thee massage course was heaps better and i felt a bit more confident in myself - it was so much to learn in 2 days after not having done anything taxing for quite a time. Actually the last taxing thing i did was file adrian's end of year tax report and that made me cry too - reminded me of Maths homework. But anyhoo, i did well with the facial and abdominal massage so i'm sure with a bit of practice it'll be just fine.
All's looking good for the christening; i think everyone i invited plus a few extras who i didn't (but it's fine!) are coming; just gotta get my skates on and start organising and pray some more that it doesn't rain. I'll be sure to get some good photos to post on here afterwards :)
AAAAArrrrgggghhhh, i'm completely unsleepy and just so excited, i can't believe i haven't seeen them in 18 months; so much has happened since i last saw them. I guess i've settled in at last and am feeling happier where i am; i've survived situations i didn't think i could survive without my family network around me; i have a new daughter that they haven't even met yet, and that breaks my heart every night when i lie down in bed and think about everyone at home, but i'm so grateful to them for making this huge effort to come out here and see us. I'm sure it must be really such a drag to have to stop off at exotic locations en route as well; wouldn't that just suck??! They arrive at Auckland at 10.45am; we're dropping the big girls off at Paddie's and then me, adrian and heidi going off to collect them - i just LOVE airports for the arrivals lounge!! HATE the departures....love love love arrivals :)
Anyhoo, it's 10.30pm now, it's the final countdown......do do do dooooo, do do do do doooooo.......12 hours to go!! Think i will go do some study; adrian is snoring like a trooper so not much chance of any company. Loads of love to everyone, excited hugs all round xxxxx
