Happy Birthday Auntie Jeanne :)

A very Happy Birthday to my Auntie Jeanne, hope you have a really lovely day; sending you loads of love and enormous birthday hugs from all of us :)

Just a normal thursday for us, playgroup this morning where i was given a one-of-a-kind, custom made, cotton reel and dried pasta necklace made by Jenna and was expected to wear it "all the way home, mummy" I did, of course, so as not to offend, but the man in the petrol station gave me a very funny look.

I really fancied a bag of toffees today and i obliged myself , having set myself a personal record by not eating any chocolate since MONDAY ( that's like 4 whole days without chocolate - a SERIOUS achievement!) and then wished i hadn't as i think (ok, i KNOW) i need a filling, judging by the way i almost went through the roof having eaten said toffees. I have an absolute morbid fear of the dentist which is relatively newly acquired by having a root canal shortly after having Jenna. I made it to 23 without having any fillings at all and that first one put me off for life. Give me childbirth ten times over rather than a filling, thank you. So there you go, reasurring thought for the day; Laura and Vicki - Childbirth - Not As Bad As A Filling..........!

Leah is going to a sleepover at her friends house on saturday - she's going to Botany cinema to watch Ice Age 2 and then off to have dinner and sleep over, which she is very excited about, and i have been informed by Leah herself "don't worry about me mummy, i'll be fine, i'm only down the road and you can see me in the morning" !!! Not that i was worried, bless her, she literally will be at the top of the road. She made me laugh as well the other day, she was sitting at the table looking worried and deep in thought, and i asked her what the matter was, and she said that she'd been thinking about who she was going to marry but she didn't know who, that Orran was very far away in England but that Toby is only 3 and a bit young !!! She really was quite concerned and in the end she decided that she was going to marry Jenna anyway. Suits me fine, saves me having to scrutinise any potential sons in law!
