Missing you

Back on solid ground at last. It's 4am and i've managed to sleep pretty much all afternoon yesterday, woke up and had dinner and watched a bit of telly, and went to bed at 9.30pm; so i feel pretty good. I didnt get any extra seats on the second leg as it was a really packed flight, so it was pretty uncomfortable.

I should have also included another thank you yesterday - Adrian of course. I don't know many men who would so willingly shoo their wives off halfway round the world for 2 weeks and look after 3 littlies. He's done a fantastic job and i'm so so lucky to have him.

I also never said a public Happy 18th Birthday to my fabulous littlest brother Chris. I was just having too much fun with the real people to want to sit at the computer blogging!

And also a huge congratulations to Laura on the birth of her little girl, Olivia....huge congratulations to all the family :)

It's good to be back and see the kids and Adrian, and i'm really looking forward to catching up with friends today. So many people told me before i went to England that i would get there and realise how lucky i am to live in New Zealand and that i would never want to go back. I am lucky to live here, but it's not my home. Sure, you can't get a good coffee for love nor money in England, (honestly, the amount of times i burnt my mouth on a cappuccino - it should be WARM, not scalding!!) but if anything, this trip has really shown me that we won't be here long term. It took every ounce of my self control not to run out of the departure lounge at Heathrow. If Adrian and the girls hadn't been waiting for me at the other end i wouldn't have got on the plane.

Anyway. Enough melodrama! Looking forward to mum and dad and chris coming out in about 7 weeks; that'll keep me going for now. I'll upload some photos of my trip and see if i can do it without crying ;) Mum and Dad and I at the airport just the other day; we only look so happy because Laura and Richard suprised me at the airport and they managed to make my last hour in the country a fabulous one by making us all laugh and making us forget that i was leaving. honestly guys; thank you so much :)

Emma and i in her house, and underneath us with her gorgeous boys; it was amazing to see you all again, love you so much darling x Hopefully next time we'll all be catching up :)

And one of all the family :) I have so many to upload but my computer has a virus and it's taken me half an hour to do these ones. It'll be fixed at the weekend so hopefully after that i'll be able to upload lots more.
Right, i'm off for now then. I've said it already but i'll say it again; it was the holiday of a lifetime; i loved every bit of it and it was so good to see all of you. I'm sorry to the people i didn't get a chance to see; 2 weeks wasn't long enough! I miss you all already :( Right, off to watch some Dancing On Ice to cheer me up now! Love and hugs xxx
