5 days in and going well; i'm really getting into this! Yesterday i dropped Leah off at kindy and on the way home went via the athletics track and managed 5 times round, which is 2km, woo! Jenna, bless her, ran a whole 400m - soooo cute!!! Then it was back to the chores at home but with a renewed vigour and enthusiasm knowing i had achieved something before morning tea. And i managed the same this morning and i've got some books out of the library about successful running ( yeah, i know.....one foot in front of the other!) and i'm really excited to have this challenge ahead of me and lots of people have said they'll come along and cheer me on which is great :)

I spent the rest of my day childless today which was rather blissful ( i don't count Heidi as a child - she's too easy, she just sleeps, eats and smiles at me - hardly work!). I perused the actual grown up books at the library without that usual panicked feeling that one of my children may be running out the door/ ripping up books/ shouting at other people's kids ( jenna gets rather teritorrial in the library and thinks all the books and videos belong to HER) in my absence. Such a treat! Then heidi and i spent the remainder opf the day drinking tea and wine round at Paddie's house, and i came home (rather tipsy after a single wine; what a lightweight!) to find adrian had made a beautiful curry and taken care of all the laundry. So all in all a fab day. Now i'm being eaten alive by the mosquitoes so i shall bid a hasty retreat to the lounge and watch more rubbish tv with adrian. love and kisses all round xxx
