and my favourite and the winner of the award for most long-winded way of saying Merry Christmas........Pozdrevlyayu s prazdnikom Rozhdestva is Novim Godom! (Russian, in case you were wondering)

I am far too drunk to write anything of consequence this evening having spent the day at Ivan and Rachael's house and having started drinking at 10am. It is now 8.45pm and i am eating eggy bread and a cuppa in a feeble attempt at feeling sober before i go to bed.

It took me about 10 minutes to write the above paragraph so i am going to love you and leave you. Tomorrow we are going for a walk to Piha (wild rugged west auckland beach) with the in-laws so i am hoping to feel energetic in the morning.
