Life Swap

Carly is forgiven for giving me a cold on account of having the best idea EVER. Seriously, Life Swap....where 25 year old long-lost childhood friends from Lancing swap lives......

* cue music*

"Carly and Jo grew up in a small town in West Sussex called Lancing. They were friends at a local nursery school and lived down the road from each other. Carly and her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand when she was -----(fill in age please Carly!) and the two kept in touch via letters and emails. They never thought they'd see each other again......."

*cue happy music*

"....until at age 19, Jo met her boyfriend and future husband, Adrian, from New Zealand. They had a baby girl and were married and then one day decided to move to New Zealand...."

*cue hardcore clubbing music to introduce us to Carly's life*

"Meanwhile Carly, having successfully completed many degrees, decides to go on her OE to England to discover her roots and drink lots of beer. Having been in England for a while now, Carly is sick of it being cold and dark and is pining for a hot summer in NZ and also wants to watch Days of Our Lives when ill. Joanne longs for a crisp, cold, rainy, twinkly English Christmas and is currently pissing everyone off moaning about how it doesn't feel like a proper Christmas when it's hot."

*cut to shot of Joanne waving*
*cut to shot of Carly waving*

"Watch what happens when we give the girls the chance to Swap Lives for 2 weeks. Can Carly cope with domesticity and 3 children? Will she feel stifled in Auckland after living in London? Will Joanne enjoy being single again too much? Will she ever go back? Or might she find that actually she misses NZ? Will their mothers steal their passports so they can never leave? Coming soon to a telly near you......Life Swap"
