Everybody needs good neighbours.....

Currently: Drinking cheap Sav Blanc ( by the computer...i really mustn't have learned my lesson)
Mood: Seething

Will start on a good note because i will probably spend the rest of this entry moaning. Tonight Jenna asked for "some cockporn" (popcorn) which made me laugh a LOT.

He he he :)

Ok, now for the whinging. Actually, not just yet. I 've been promising to post a picture of my lovely lovely car, my lovely blue Toyota Ipsum, so here she is.....

And THIS is what our neighbours did to our lovely car.....

....reversing down our driveway, although they refuse to admit it. We know they did it because they reverse their vans down our shared driveway at great speed. We've not been anywhere today and there are bits of our car all over the driveway. We are both very cross >( and NOT liking the neighbours very much. In addition to the constant smell of onions and curry 24 hours a day, i have found their 17 year old son on our roof for some reason, AND they park in our carport. That's not like parking outside someone's house in the spot you'd usually park in (a la England), your carport is attached to your house and part of your property. GRRRRRRR.

Anyway. On the positive side of things, i am getting the wheels in motion to start doing my midwifery course, whether it be here or in the UK. I'm applying on Wednesday to start a Pre-Degree Nursing course, which will give me the study skills to get onto the course, and hopefully starting a short course to be a Health Care Assistant, which will update my clinical skills. And i borrowed a book yesterday lunchtime called "Baby Catcher" by Peggy Vincent, and i have about 20 pages of this 500 page book to go; i've just devoured it - i don't want it to end! It's just so inspirational, and it makes me so frustrated that i can't skip off to university tomorrow and just BE a midwife. I will get there though, i will.

Oooh, hark at me, all serious! Back to the wine and giggling about cockporn, methinks! xxx

edited to say: oooh, an actual nice thing just happened to cheer me up.....whilst looking for a scourer on a top shelf, i found an unopened Christmas present from Mum and Dad for meeeeee...and it was posh chocolate from M&S, which i am now going to scoff in bed with a cup of tea whilst reading the last pages of my book, so my day has ended rather nicely :) Thanks mum and dad, you have no idea how happy that's made me!!! xxxxxx
